Thank you for visiting Get Audio. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information we collect when you use get-audio.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Get Audio is operated by Audio Industria on behalf of Blue Sail Technologies Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland, which is responsible for your personal information (the data controller).

2. The information we collect
- When you buy from us: your name, email address, the items you ordered and confirmation of your payment. Your card or PayPal details are entered directly with Stripe or PayPal, so we never see or store your full card details.
- When you order a physical product such as a CD or USB stick: your delivery address.
- When you claim a download for an order placed on a marketplace such as Amazon, eBay or Etsy: the name, email address and order details you give us, together with the order details the marketplace provides, so that we can match your order and send your download.
- When you contact us or join our mailing list: your name, email address and your message.
- When you use the website: technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages and downloads you request.
We need your name and email address to take your order and send your downloads, and your delivery address for physical products. Without them we cannot complete your order. Joining our mailing list is entirely your choice.
3. How we use your information, and our legal basis
- To take and deliver your order, provide your downloads and look after you if anything goes wrong. We do this to fulfil our contract with you.
- To answer your messages and questions, whether or not you have bought from us. We do this in our legitimate interests in replying to you, or to take steps you ask for before you place an order.
- To keep accounting and tax records. We do this because the law requires it.
- To keep the website, your downloads and payments secure, and to prevent fraud and spam. We do this because it is in our legitimate interests, and yours, to keep everything safe.
- To use optional cookies, only with your permission (see section 8).
We do not sell your personal information. Our payment providers and our spam protection service make automated checks to prevent fraud and misuse, but we do not make any decision about you that has a legal or similarly significant effect based solely on automated processing. If a payment or message is ever blocked in error, please use the contact form on this website and we will look into it personally.
4. Who we share it with
We share your information only with the following, and only as much as each of them needs:
- our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal;
- our website hosting and email delivery providers;
- the secure file storage we use to deliver your downloads;
- Google, whose spam protection service runs across our website to help keep our forms and checkout safe;
- postal and courier services, for physical orders;
- YouTube and TrustedSite, only if you choose Accept all in our cookie bar (see section 8).
These providers must keep your information secure. Stripe, PayPal and Google may also use information to prevent fraud and misuse, and YouTube and TrustedSite may use it for their own purposes, each under their own privacy policies. We will also share information where the law requires it, for example with HM Revenue & Customs.
5. Where your information is stored
Our website is hosted in the European Economic Area, which UK law recognises as protecting personal information to the same standard as the UK. Some of our providers, such as Stripe, PayPal and Google, may process information in the United States or other countries, as may YouTube and TrustedSite if you choose Accept all. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the UK's adequacy regulations or by approved contract terms.
6. How long we keep it
- Orders and payments, including download claims for marketplace orders and the record of each download: for at least six years after the end of the financial year the order relates to. The law requires this for tax and accounting, and it allows us to confirm your purchase if you ever need your download again.
- Messages you send us: for as long as we need them to help you, and to keep a record of our conversation in case you contact us again about the same matter. Messages about an order are kept with that order.
- Security and link click records: for as long as they are needed to keep the website secure and to understand which of our links are used.
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, for example where we no longer need it or where you withdraw your permission;
- ask us to limit how we use your information, or object to how we use it;
- object to marketing at any time;
- ask for a copy of your information in a format you can take elsewhere;
- withdraw your permission at any time, where we rely on it.
To make a request, please use the contact form on this website. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please let us know through the same contact form: we will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it and let you know the outcome. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser, and some websites use similar storage in your browser in the same way. The ones on our website fall into two groups. Essential cookies run the shop, keep it secure and remember your choices, so they are always on. Optional cookies are only used if you choose Accept all in our cookie bar.
Essential cookies (always on)
- keeping your basket, checkout and session working;
- security and spam protection on our forms and checkout, provided by Google;
- fraud prevention by our payment provider, Stripe;
- remembering your cookie choice, and the state of our announcement bar, such as whether you have closed it;
- remembering display choices you make on the website.
Optional cookies (only with your permission)
- YouTube, when a page includes one of our videos;
- TrustedSite, which provides the security trust badge shown on our website;
- counting which of our short links are clicked, so we know which ones are useful.
You can change your choice at any time: Change my cookie choice. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the website, such as the checkout, may not work without essential cookies.
9. Children
Our website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, please use the contact form on this website and we will delete them promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
